So we went to Harrods department store! Harrods takes up 4.5 acres and is 1 full city block. I, of course, loved its world famous Food Halls which had all kinds of specialty foods including...
... A Krispy Kreme! And why not?? They ARE the best donuts! So for about 1 pound sterling you can get this:

The next day we started walking around and we went to the Tate Modern, then walked passed London Bridge...

These are the guides, they give you a tour. They are hysterical! They all get to live there too which is very cool and they are all in the British Army or Air Force, so those ribbons are for actual combat action! I was wondering why not the Navy? The guide said its because the Navy takes an oath to their ship, not the Queen. Very interesting!
We also went to the Imperial War Museum. Actually, it was my favorite part of the whole trip. It was such a GREAT museum. It had some really fascinating exhibits, including a recreation of a WW1 trench and a recreation of a WW2 era London home - both that you can walk through, and a ton of artifacts. In fact I was so engulfed that I forgot to take pictures. If you ever go to London, I highly recommend it!
Outside they have part of the Berlin wall!
Here we are inside the museum... always representing for LAAD in front of a German anti-aircraft gun. It's no Stinger missile!
The next day we started walking around and we went to the Tate Modern, then walked passed London Bridge...
...and onto London Tower.
This was one of the places in London Tower where they tortured and killed people. Gotta love that European history! There was also a moat here, which was where people threw their "waste"... Our guide said that's why the flowers were soooo pretty!
More to come!
